Meaning home, Ka represents where loved ones convene and where you set your own rules. It's with this freedom that Hong Kong-born Chef Zac Ng has crafted an 8-course, ever evolving menu that makes the heart sing.
A menu inspired in part by his Cantonese heritage, but also shaped by his experience in the great Asian houses of the Sydney food scene, including Sepia, XOPP and Flying Fish.

Having traversed a variety of culinary environments, from renowned fine dining establishments to diverse culinary settings, Zac's diverse experiences have shaped his perspective and fostered a profound appreciation for culinary traditions.
His tenure at renowned establishments such as Flying Fish and Sepia Restaurant in Sydney honed his skills and fueled his creative spirit, culminating in his role as the executive chef of XOPP by Golden Century Restaurant before embarking on his own culinary venture, Ka.
At Ka, Zac's vision comes to life—a homage to his Cantonese heritage intertwined with his Australian culinary journey. Through his meticulously crafted dishes, Zac seamlessly blends elements of Cantonese cuisine with innovative techniques and non-traditional ingredients, inviting guests on a gastronomic odyssey unlike any other.
The name "Ka," meaning "home" in Cantonese, embodies the essence of Zac's restaurant—a warm and welcoming space where guests are invited to experience the intimacy of a home kitchen.
