Nigara Tsuchime Kiritsuke Gyuto 210mm R2/SG2

from $495.00
Nigara has a history of over 350 years, starting from making swords in the early Edo period. Now in its 8th generation, Nigara has kept its sword forging techniques alive by applying it onto their kitchen knives.

This knife is hand crafted with R2/SG2 steel, a high carbon high alloy stainless steel. It makes the knife easier to sharpen but is also very durable.

Care
- Hand wash after every use, and dry before putting it away.
- If it is not used every day, apply a light coat of mineral food grade oil to protect blade from rust.
- Do not use it to cut through bones, frozen products.
